Jonathan
Atherton is one of Australia's finest stand-up
comedians. He is also an actor, voice artist,
screen writer and award winning photographer.
"Australia's best export since Foster's Lager" ...London Metro
He will be on the main stage to entertain you together with one of his 'surprise' guests.
Jonathan's credits are many and varied. His first major acting role was in the Australian classic "The Mango Tree" at age 16. He went on to play parts in television productions and on the stage before concentrating on University studies reading Law, Anthropology, Religion and Linguistics at the University of Queensland. He graduated with a B.A (Hons.) and LLB.
A love of culture and adventure drew him away from the staid corridors of academia and into the heart of the third world. He spent most of the 80's travelling through Asia and Africa where he worked as a Tour Guide, Salvage Diver, Teacher, Set Builder, Photographer and Restaurateur. He also did a walk-on role in the Robin William's blockbuster 'Good Morning Vietnam'.
In Thailand in 1991 he was run over by a truck and medivaced to Australia where he spent over a year in traction fighting gangrene, antibiotic resistant infection and the devastating effects of 17 compound fractures to his legs, arm and spine. He underwent a dozen major operations. But he never lost his his sense of humour. In fact the stories he brought back from his prolific travels formed the nucleus of his initial comedy performances.

Formed
in the early 1970's and today considered one
of the most unique and respected bands on the
local music scene. This group has represented
Singapore twice at international jazz festivals,
headlined numerous blues and rock concerts here
and overseas.
Heritage was the first local band to release a self-produced album of 10 original compositions under the prestigious WEA label in 1979. Two more followed in 1993 and 1997, while a fourth is in the offing.
In May this year, Heritage was given the Artistic Excellence award by the Composers and Authors Society of Singapore (COMPASS) for their dedication and perseverance to their art. This is the first time an underground rock band has been given this award.
This
band has made big waves at their performances
as they showcase their versatility playing Motown
songs to songs by The Killers, Muse and many
more.
The band make huge efforts to please the audience by engaging in entertaining tactics such as when their guitarists walk around timbre with their guitars playing their blazing solos. Witness a band who will become one of the top bands but more importantly a band who's main objective is to have you leave their gig with a smile on your face and a lasting memory.
The Soulfellas is a project band by The Goodfellas and Danny Loong of ublues. The Soulfellas is all about soul and the guys pay tribute to the soul and Motown music of the sixties and such as Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, The Temptations, Sam and Dave, Stevie Wonder to Earth Wind and Fire.
Danny Loong, bandleader of Singapore's leading blues band, ublues, joins forces with them to create an exciting music concept which will feature great fun, spontaneous dancing, funky costumes...and BIG hair!
Made
up of guitarist Alvin Khoo, singer/guitarist
Sara Wee, Bani Hidir on bass and Wan on drums,
this electric 4 piece has entertained packed
audiences with their repertoire of pop and rock
tunes.
Sara’s soulful vocals stand out within the familiar melodies and is not to be missed.
An
all-male band that entertains you with covers
from all ages and genres. This eclectic mix of
personalities aims to serenade your night with
smooth harmony and rock your socks off with electrifying
solos - when they aren't planning world domination.
No school is too ol' and no rock is too nu' for this eclectic band that has trouble labeling itself.

Bluejade has played all over Singapore at various
bars and functions and has garnered a reputation
for being a top party band thanks to the
blend of Top 40s, alternative, as well as old
and new rock that’s
included in their repertoire.
